The day started with an 8 am hike up an 800 meter (whatever that is) hill for an amazing 360 degree view of the bays. Well worth the effort. Then biked over to Nelson Bay and will be taking a ferry to Tea Gardens across the bay and will hopefully see whales and dolphins. Expect to try surfing this afternoon with the thin scuba skin because of the stingers in the waters (yikes). It is beautiful late spring weather and the people are lovely.
