Michael and his 13 year old son Benjamin were kind enough to drive me 4 hours to Port Stephens, where there are gorgeous bays, and I am able to stay in their cousin's 5 bedroom house on Fingal Bay. We took a 4 WD drive along Anna Bay beach (exhilarating) and saw camel rides and beautiful waves. Lunch with Michael's parents was yet another feast of grilled fish and salads and then I rented a bike for my excursions around the area!
Camels??? Really? Never would have expected that!
